Training DVD |
The following DVD have been produced as training aids
for those certified to train others in the Results Management System.
However, people interested in changing their performance management
systems have found it useful to help others in their organisations see
the need to change to a more results-oriented approach by showing the
dvd’s.
They can be purchased separately and can be viewed with greater
understanding after you have read the book on Results Management
published by John Wiley.
The synopsis can be viewed when you click onto the DVD list on the menu.
DVD : The Gains and not The
Pains
This 17 minute presentation highlights the common difficulties and
issues faced with conventional performance management or appraisal
systems. It offers an alternative less contentious and more
productivity-focussed results-based management system. Useful to show
and bring about the need for change after appraisers and appraisees have
highlighted the need to refine current practices.
DVD : Managing for Commitment
This 19 minute dvd shows various vignettes on how the critical
communication and motivational skills are normally handled and how they
can be better executed. Good refresher and reinforcement for those who
have attended programmes on interpersonal skills before.
DVD : Managing for Results (Service
Manager)
This 34 minute video, based on the work of a Service Manager in an
after-sales service centre, is aided in diagnosing performance problems
through coaching and counselling on-the-job. Again, how it is normally
done and how it can be better done is demonstrated here. Other vignettes
show how a performance review and performance appraisal are done.
DVD : Managing for Results
(Production Manager)
This 30 minute video, based on the work of a Production Manager,
shows how he is aided in diagnosing performance problems through
coaching and counselling on-the-job. Again, how it is normally done and
how it can be better done is demonstrated here. Other vignettes show how
a performance review and performance appraisal are done.
